One of the most popular willows for smaller gardens, Salix caprea Kilmarnock, also known as S. caprea pendula, has been widely planted for decades. Originally a wild ground covering plant eventually grafted onto a straight stem at varying heights for ornamental purposes, its red/yellow stems will droop down gracefully eventually touching the ground.
