The cupped, globular, very double, creamy-white flowers, emerge from palest lemon-yellow buds, and are deliciously and strongly scented of myrrh and vanilla; they repeat in flushes for several months. Ideal as a climber for the smaller garden, climbing rose Claire Austin can also be grown as a shrub rose with a little support.
