Magnolia Fairy Blush®

A lovely spring-flowering magnolia for smaller gardens, Magnolia 'Fairy Blush'® is a fairly fast-growing, semi-evergreen shrub with a compact, bushy habit. The ovoid, glossy, deep green leaves are evergreen in milder areas, but may fall in cold winters. From March to May, masses of beautiful, shell-pink, lightly scented, bowl-shaped flowers are borne on the shrub, and more appear, intermittently, until early autumn. Flowers are produced when the shrub is still young. Magnolia Fairy Blush makes a beautiful specimen shrub, especially in smaller gardens, and can also be grown in soil-based compost in a very large container. A good shrub for butterflies, it needs minimal pruning.
