The flowers are the familiar honeysuckle shape, concentric rings of tubular flowers, opening cream-coloured, and fading to a soft buff-yellow with a strong, delicious honeysuckle fragrance; they are nectar-rich and very attractive to pollinators. Later-flowering than most honeysuckles, it flowers from July to September.
