The fruit is medium-sized and green flushed with orange-red; the flesh is firm and good for pressing. The juice is sweet to bitter-sweet, with a lovely aroma, and so well balanced that it can be used for single vintage cider. Fruit drops when ripe. Apple Yarlington Mill is a moderately vigorous tree, coming a little late into bearing but thereafter bearing heavy crops, though with a tendency to biennial bearing. Spur-bearer, and a good pollinator.
